How to eat like a Malaysian

Get your beany-fruity syrupy hit via a big bowl of refreshing ABC! Cendol, ice cream and molasses syrup meets red bean, sweetcorn, jelly and fruit. YUMMY.

This is roti canai. Observe carefully, for it is the most delicious thing in the world. A fried flatbread, it can be stuffed (when it’s a murtabak), served with dippy curry or eggs and sambal. Oh, and it’s mainly a breakfast dish. HEAVEN.
